Must-try food while in Seville

When you visit a new place, if you like food one of the first things you look for is their local specialities. There is one common mistake you may snap into, specially when it comes to Spanish cities: we are not the same, we don’t eat the same. Not even close.

Don’t think you know already what is traditional down here because you’ve visited Barcelona before. Probably the best thing about Spanish gastronomy is there is not an Spanish gastronomy but gastronomies. So it is almost a brand new food culture every city you visit. The souther you go, the most variety influences you find. The south of Spain, which most part is occupied by Andalucía, is the home of a huge cultural diversity shaped by centuries of History that is also reflected in its food. Here, we don’t really do paella, papas bravas or padron peppers. We know them, we like them, they are just not part of our culture food.
